Job Description: Information Technology Manager
Mawe Lodges is seeking a versatile IT Manager to oversee all technology operations and ensure our digital platforms are robust, user-friendly, and aligned with our business objectives. The successful candidate will have expertise in IT maintenance, graphic design, social media, and web development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. IT Systems Monitoring and Troubleshooting
- Monitor and manage servers, networks, and hardware.
- Execute data security and backup protocols diligently.
- Provide technical support and resolve IT issues promptly.
2. Graphic Design
- Design creative graphics for marketing, consistent with our brand.
- Prepare promotional materials like brochures, banners, and social media visuals.
3. Social Media Management
- Manage and enhance our social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and brand visibility.
- Stay abreast of the latest social media trends.
4. Web Development and Management
- Maintain and update the Mawe Lodges website, ensuring it is visually appealing, user-friendly, and SEO-optimized.
- Integrate features like booking systems, payment gateways, and feedback forms.
- Monitor and analyze website performance, making improvements as necessary.
5. Digital Marketing and SEO
- Create and execute digital marketing strategies, including email marketing, PPC, and SEO.
- Track the success of digital marketing campaigns and adjust strategies to meet objectives.
6. Project Management
- Lead IT-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with external vendors for IT solutions and services.
7. Training and Development
- Provide IT training to staff on systems, software, and digital tools.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and suggest improvements.
8. Compliance and Security
- Ensure IT practices comply with regulations and industry standards.
- Implement cybersecurity measures to safeguard company data and digital assets.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in IT management, with a strong background in graphic design, social media management, and web development.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
- Expertise in web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
- Solid understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and social media analytics.
- Other Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and project management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- An innovative approach with attention to detail.
