POST: OFFICE SECRETARY – (1) POST

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To provide secretarial and administrative support to other office as needed, attend victors/customers upon arrival;
  • To maintain calendar and the manager’s diary;
  • To effective maintained filling systems and updated index to ensure proper maintenance of records and easy retrieval of documents;
  • To organize meeting and events in the respective office as directed by manager;
  • To make travel arrangements for manager and other staff in the department;
  • Computer literacy certificate Microcomputer Application and Ms Publisher from recognized institute;
  • To manage office equipment and machines, namely (type writer, computer, photocopier machines and fax messages) to assure performance is maintained; and
  • To supervise dispatch and receive reports, parcels and letters to ensure good management of the office.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma in Secretarial Studies from recognized institution with Form IV or VI secondary school academic certificates, typing speed 50wpm, office practice stage II, English
