Procurement Specialist at ACDI/VOCA

Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Open Period: October 30, 2024 – November 13, 2024
Job Grade: AV-Level 6
Salary Range: 4,277,300.00 to 5,704,000.00 (Salary determined based on candidate’s relevant experience and skills, as well as our internal equity)
Work Schedule: Full-time – 40 hours per week
Projected Employment Cycle: November 2024 through September 2027, managed through a 1-year employment contract with optional extensions.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Procurement or a related discipline; additional training or certifications in procurement preferred. Training in USAID procurement rules and regulations is highly desired; certification as a member of the procurement board is an advantage.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of relevant work experience, including demonstrated experience with USAID-funded project procurement.
  • Knowledge: Proven knowledge of USAID procurement rules and regulations.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Effective record management, documentation, and filing capabilities.
