1. Communication, Knowledge Sharing & Public Relations Officer
Location: Dodoma, Tanzania
Experience Required: Minimum 7 Years
Role Overview
The successful candidate will lead corporate visibility, stakeholder engagement and agronomic knowledge dissemination, combining communication expertise with a solid understanding of agriculture and fertilizer operations.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute corporate communication and public relations strategies.

Translate agronomic and fertilizer knowledge into accessible information for farmers, partners and policymakers.

Establish and accelerate knowledge-sharing pathways through workshops, newsletters, social media and digital platforms.
-
Prepare communication messages for government institutions, NGOs and other stakeholders.

Manage corporate communication and safeguard the company's reputation.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences or a related field. A Master's Degree is preferred.

Professional training in Communication, Public Relations or Corporate Affairs.

Minimum seven years of experience in agronomy and fertilizer business, including at least three years in communication or public relations roles.

Strong writing, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Multilingual ability, preferably English, Kiswahili and French.

Familiarity with compliance frameworks and international agricultural standards.

2. Safety and Environment Protection Supervisor
Location: Fertilizer Production Factory, Dodoma
Experience Required: 3–5 Years
Role Overview
The Safety and Environment Protection Supervisor will help ensure Itracom Fertilizers Limited operates in compliance with Tanzanian environmental and occupational safety laws, international standards including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, IFC guidelines and internal sustainability policies.
The role focuses on environmental monitoring, workplace safety, accident prevention and ecological risk management.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with NEMC, OSHA and Fire & Rescue regulations.

Conduct environmental monitoring, including emissions, effluent and hazardous waste.

Develop and enforce workplace safety protocols and emergency response plans.

Lead risk assessments and investigate accidents or near misses.

Train employees on environmental best practices and occupational safety.
-
Prepare compliance reports and maintain updated permits and licences.
-
Recommend environmentally friendly technologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or Occupational Safety.

Three to five years of experience in industrial safety and environmental compliance, preferably in fertilizer, chemical or industrial plant operations.

Registration with NEMC and OSHA, as stated in the advertisement.

Strong knowledge of Tanzanian environmental laws and international standards, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Proven experience in large-scale industrial operations, including manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, cement or chemical industries.

Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

Proactive, detail-oriented and able to communicate effectively in English and Swahili.
