1. Brewing Operator (Mbeya)
Job Purpose
To safely operate brewing processes and equipment, perform quality control checks, execute maintenance activities, and support team performance to ensure consistent product quality at optimal cost.
Key Responsibilities
Plant & Process Operations
- Operate Brew House, Fermentation, and Filtration processes
- Optimise plant and process performance
- Apply 5S principles and safe work practices
- Draft and support standard operating procedures
Quality Control
- Perform quality checks and record results accurately
- Apply quick‑fix routines to resolve quality deviations
- Escalate unresolved issues to the Team Leader
Communication & Teamwork
- Participate in shift meetings and goal reviews
- Maintain accurate shift handovers and logbooks
- Support and coach fellow team members
Problem Solving
- Respond quickly to process deviations
- Apply problem‑solving tools such as 5‑Why analysis
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Food Science
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft applications)
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work shifts

2. Maintenance Controller (Arusha)
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Plant Reliability
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor maintenance activities
- Manage breakdowns, repairs, and preventive maintenance
- Optimise plant, equipment, and process systems
- Ensure packaging efficiency and process control
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce safety, health, and environmental standards
- Conduct safety inspections and audits
- Ensure adherence to PPE, 5S, and safe maintenance practices
People Management
- Conduct 1‑on‑1s and manage SKAP assessments
- Coach and develop artisans and machine specialists
- Support recruitment, engagement, and performance management
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
- Lead loss and waste analysis for top machines
- Drive continuous improvement and VPO initiatives
- Participate in S‑Plan and GOP compliance
Budget & Planning
- Prepare and manage ZBB / VIC Maintenance budgets
- Identify CAPEX and improvement opportunities
- Highlight operational and financial risks proactively
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably Electrical Engineering)
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role
- 3–5 years production engineering experience in FMCG
- Knowledge of Brewing, E&F, or Packaging Plants (advantage)
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office applications)
