Lake Cement Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to support construction projects within its cement manufacturing operations. The role requires hands-on experience in mass concreting, project execution, quality control, and construction supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise concrete works, masonry, carpentry, and curing activities on-site.
- Plan, schedule, and execute construction projects to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare and interpret civil construction drawings, quantity estimates, and cost estimates.
- Ensure construction quality standards are maintained through inspections and testing.
- Monitor usage, supply, and tracking of construction materials.
- Lead and coordinate construction teams, contractors, and site workers.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 3–5 years of field experience in project construction, preferably in the cement industry.
- Hands-on experience in mass concreting and high-rise construction projects.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of cement plant equipment construction including Crushers, VRM, Kiln, Ball Mill, and Packing Plant.
- Experience in Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation, quantity estimation, and costing.
- Hands-on experience with RCC rods, TMT bars, binding, and formwork.
- Strong understanding of concrete grades, mix designs, and mass concrete applications.
- Familiarity with admixtures, mass concreting techniques, and CAD drawings.
- Knowledge of ISO Management Systems, HSE procedures, and ERP systems.
