Salary: TZS 700,000 per month (depending on experience)
Overview
BOL HR Consultants, on behalf of its client, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Documentation Officer to join a dynamic logistics team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customs clearance documentation, port operations processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant shipping and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process import and export documentation.
- Coordinate customs clearance activities and related logistics documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Tanzania customs regulations and shipping procedures.
- Liaise with port authorities, clearing agents, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for logistics operations.
- Monitor and support timely cargo clearance and shipment processing.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Clearing & Forwarding, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in customs clearance, documentation, port operations, and shipping procedures in Tanzania.
- Strong knowledge of TANCIS (Tanzania Customs Integrated System).
- Good understanding of port operations, customs regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
