Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, and onboarding new employees
- Maintain and update accurate employee records and HR databases
- Administer HR-related payments, including terminal benefits and statutory deductions
- Process payroll accurately and submit timely statutory reports
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements
- Handle employee relations issues and respond to staff queries professionally
- Enforce company HR policies and procedures
- Support performance management processes including appraisals and evaluations
- Coordinate staff training and development programs
- Prepare HR reports, documentation, and maintain proper filing systems
Key Competencies
- Strong understanding of HR processes, payroll support, and employee lifecycle management
- Knowledge of labor laws and statutory regulations
- High accuracy in handling employee data, payroll, and reports
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Problem-solving ability with practical HR solutions
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in HR operations or administration (added advantage)
- Knowledge of payroll processes, statutory deductions, and terminal benefits
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- High integrity and confidentiality standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and other HR systems
