Job Summary
The Senior Officer – ICT will be responsible for managing core banking systems, ensuring system availability, supporting IT infrastructure, and maintaining cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain core banking systems and related applications
- Provide technical support and ensure minimal downtime for critical systems
- Oversee system backups, data recovery, and cybersecurity measures
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers on IT infrastructure and upgrades
- Troubleshoot network and software issues efficiently
- Ensure compliance with ICT and banking regulatory requirements
- Support IT planning, budgeting, and implementation of new technologies
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT, preferably in the financial or banking sector
- Strong knowledge of core banking systems, databases, and networking
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection standards
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
