YBP Consulting Services is recruiting a motivated Audit & Assurance Intern to join its team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

This opportunity is designed for recent graduates, CPA students and individuals with an accounting or finance background who want to gain practical exposure to audit and assurance assignments.

The internship provides an opportunity to develop professional skills, support audit engagements and gain hands-on experience working alongside the firm's audit team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist the audit team in the following activities:

1. Audit Planning

• Assist with planning audit assignments.

• Support the preparation and organisation of audit documentation.

• Work with the audit team to understand engagement requirements.

2. Audit Procedures

• Perform basic audit procedures under supervision.

• Assist with audit-related reviews and assigned tasks.

• Support the collection and organisation of relevant audit information.

3. Audit Working Papers

• Prepare and maintain audit working papers.

• Organise supporting documentation for audit assignments.

• Ensure assigned working papers are completed accurately.

4. Audit Team Support

• Support audit professionals with day-to-day engagement activities.

• Participate in assigned audit and assurance work.

• Learn from experienced team members and contribute to the completion of engagements.

Required Qualifications
