About the Opportunities
Tova Farms Tanzania is expanding its executive management team and seeking experienced, results-driven professionals for two hands-on senior leadership positions. The successful candidates will support the growth and performance of the company's avocado supply network and export operations across Tanzania.
POSITION 01 | SENIOR LEADERSHIP
Supply Director - Tanzania
Lead the expansion of the company's agricultural supply network by developing strategic commercial relationships with major avocado producers across Tanzania.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish commercial partnerships with large-scale avocado farms throughout Tanzania.
- Negotiate supply agreements, pricing structures and long-term contracts.
- Integrate partner farms into company production standards, standard operating procedures and certification programmes.
- Identify opportunities for strategic farm acquisitions and supply expansion.
- Coordinate harvesting operations, harvesting teams, truck loading, weight verification and supply planning.
- Lead teams, strengthen accountability and ensure reliable supply execution.
Candidate Profile
- Strong existing industry network across Tanzania's avocado supply regions.
- Proven commercial negotiation and supplier relationship capabilities.
- Strong people management, operational coordination and accountability.
- Experience in avocado sourcing, agriculture or the export value chain is preferred.
POSITION 02 | SENIOR LEADERSHIP
Tanzania Operations Lead
Oversee nationwide avocado export operations, coordinate departments and ensure the business meets its commercial, operational and performance objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities across supply, processing facilities, logistics and exports.
- Manage client sales, evaluate customer orders against available supply and ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Lead senior departmental managers and strengthen operational accountability.
- Resolve complex operational challenges and ensure timely execution.
- Engage with government authorities, regulators and strategic stakeholders.
- Monitor company compliance, licensing, BRELA requirements and permit renewals.
- Drive operational improvements, growth and organisational performance.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience leading complex operations and senior departmental teams.
- Strong commercial decision-making, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate supply, processing, logistics and export functions.
- Experience in the avocado export or agricultural value chain is preferred.
General Requirements
- Strong leadership, commercial and operational management capabilities.
- Relevant industry networks and a proven record of delivering results.
- Ability to take initiative, manage teams and work effectively across Tanzania.
- Experience in avocado exports or the agricultural value chain is preferred.
- Valid licence, as required in the original announcement.
- Clean background check.
