Our partner is hiring two experienced Workshop Managers in Tanzania!

An exciting opportunity is available for highly experienced automotive and fleet maintenance professionals to lead workshop operations in Dar es Salaam and Morogoro.

Our partner is seeking candidates with extensive experience maintaining buses, coaches or heavy commercial vehicles, combined with proven workshop leadership and operational management capabilities.

Successful candidates will receive a monthly salary of USD 2,000, together with company-provided accommodation, food, transport and health insurance.

This opportunity is also suitable for qualified international professionals willing to relocate to Tanzania.

Key Responsibilities

The Workshop Manager will be expected to oversee workshop and vehicle maintenance operations, including:

• Supervise workshop operations and maintenance teams.

• Coordinate servicing, repairs and preventive maintenance of commercial vehicles.

• Oversee diagnostics and technical troubleshooting of buses, coaches and heavy commercial vehicles.

• Manage spare-parts control and workshop resources.

• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to support operational efficiency.

• Lead, supervise and coordinate technical staff.

• Support effective workshop planning, organisation and team performance.

Qualifications & Experience

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in commercial vehicle maintenance.

• At least 3 years of experience managing a workshop or maintenance team.

• Practical experience working with buses, coaches or heavy commercial vehicles.

• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repairs and preventive maintenance.

• Experience in spare-parts control and workshop operations.

• Strong leadership, planning and team-management skills.

• Good command of English and Kiswahili.

• Willingness to relocate to Tanzania, where applicable.

Added Advantage

Experience maintaining or managing Yutong buses or other Chinese commercial vehicles will be an added advantage.
