Job Overview

An opportunity is available for an experienced and dedicated Assistant Camp Manager to support the management of safari camps located in different national parks across Tanzania.

The successful candidate will assist in overseeing day-to-day camp operations, supervise hospitality teams, maintain high service standards and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily camp operations and ensure departments function efficiently.

• Support the leadership, coaching and motivation of housekeeping, laundry, maintenance and support teams.

• Train and supervise employees to maintain excellent hospitality service standards.

• Ensure camp equipment remains in good working condition.

• Conduct regular guest-room inspections.

• Support compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for guests and employees.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should possess:

• Minimum three years of hospitality experience.

• Previous experience as an Assistant Camp Manager or Housekeeping Manager is an advantage.

• Diploma in Hospitality or Hotel Management is preferred.

• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

• A guest-focused attitude.

• Excellent teamwork and staff-supervision capabilities.

• Flexibility, commitment, reliability and professionalism in daily camp operations.
