Job Summary

Position: Assistant Nursing Officer (ANO)

Number of Vacancies: 1

Location: Bagamoyo, Tanzania

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and monitor patients' vital signs.
• Administer medications and perform basic treatments under the guidance of senior healthcare staff.
• Carry out clinical procedures within the approved scope of practice.
• Educate and counsel patients on disease prevention and healthcare management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and prepare required reports.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain infection prevention and control measures, including hygiene and 5S practices.
• Supervise junior nursing staff and assist with duty roster management.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized institution.
• Registration with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC).
• Valid practicing license.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Ability to submit all required application documents in a single PDF file.
