Key Responsibilities
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for:
- Preparing and processing journal entries.
- Managing intercompany reconciliations and reporting.
- Preparing and maintaining sub-ledger reconciliations.
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Supporting month-end General Ledger closing activities.
- Preparing Country on a Page (COAP) reports and associated balance sheet notes.
- Coordinating interim and annual external audits.
- Preparing year-end reporting packs in compliance with IFRS standards.
- Preparing annual financial statements.
- Responding promptly to internal and external audit queries.
- Conducting internal controls reviews.
- Managing and maintaining the fixed asset register.
- Supporting SAP S/4HANA General Ledger and reconciliation processes.
- Assisting with financial modelling and reporting activities.
- Performing financial analysis and variance analysis.
- Supporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assisting with forecasting and FP&A activities.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience.
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting standards.
- Experience in audit coordination and financial statement preparation.
