Job Title: ICT Specialist
SIHO TECH is seeking a skilled and proactive ICT Specialist to join its growing technical team and support ICT infrastructure, system operations, and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain ICT infrastructure including LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, servers, and hardware systems
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Install and maintain CCTV, access control, biometric, and security systems
- Support communication systems including radios, video conferencing, and remote connectivity
- Maintain ICT asset registers, software licenses, backups, and system documentation
- Ensure compliance with company ICT policies and cybersecurity standards
- Train users on ICT systems and promote effective system adoption
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of networking, Windows Server, and cloud systems
- Experience with CCTV, access control, and security technologies
- Excellent troubleshooting and technical support capabilities
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and ICT compliance standards
- Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate and work across teams effectively
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent field
- Registered Professional Engineer with a valid practicing license
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in ICT systems and infrastructure
- Proven track record in at least 3 similar projects within the last 7 years
Work Environment
- Role involves deployment and support across multiple locations in Tanzania and Eastern Africa
