The company provides warehousing management, transportation, cargo and freight services, and project management solutions across Tanzania.
AGL is seeking an experienced MIS Manager to lead its Information Technology function.
Job Purpose
Lead and continuously improve IT services across AGL Tanzania and designated local entities, ensuring secure, reliable and cost-effective technology operations aligned with business requirements and Group IT standards.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the annual IT roadmap aligned with business priorities.

Ensure compliance with Group cybersecurity standards, policies and information security requirements.

Manage IT infrastructure, networks, servers, cloud platforms, backups and telecommunications.

Ensure availability and performance of business-critical applications and systems.

Lead business application implementations and approved IT projects.

Oversee IT service delivery, incident management and user support.

Manage technology vendors, contracts and service providers.

Prepare quarterly IT performance, risk and investment reports.

Coordinate business continuity, infrastructure reliability and cybersecurity risk management.

Collaborate with local, Regional and Group IT teams.

Lead IT teams and promote a customer-focused service culture.
Qualifications & Experience

Master's degree or equivalent, as indicated in the vacancy's education level.

More than 10 years' relevant IT experience, including at least 5 years at management level.

Postgraduate qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields are advantageous.

Professional certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, CompTIA Security+, CISSP or PMP are advantageous.
