The company is looking for talented professionals to join its Network Operations Center (NOC) team and support mission-critical network operations and service assurance.

Position: Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer

Role Purpose

Support continuous monitoring and operation of network services while ensuring incidents are managed effectively, documented accurately, and resolved within service expectations.

The successful candidate will work closely with Network Engineers, IP Engineers, Field Engineers, and Operations teams to maintain service availability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Ticketing, Documentation & Reporting

• Log, update, monitor, and close incidents in ticketing and monitoring systems.
• Maintain accurate incident timelines and resolution records.
• Document actions taken and root causes identified.
• Update operational documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.
• Support preparation of:
  • Daily NOC reports
  • Weekly operational reports
  • Shift handover reports
• Analyze recurring incidents and network performance trends.

Collaboration & Operational Coordination

• Work closely with IP Engineers and Field Engineers.
• Coordinate customer-impacting incidents and escalations.
• Participate in operational review meetings.
• Support continuous operational improvement initiatives.
• Assist with documentation of process improvements.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in any of the following:

• Information Technology
• Telecommunications Engineering
• Computer Science
• Computer Engineering
• Electronics Engineering
• Related Technical Discipline

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills

Technical Knowledge

• Understanding of TCP/IP networking.
• Basic LAN/WAN concepts.
• Networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with network operations environments.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to monitoring tools.
• Experience with ticketing systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of service assurance principles.
