The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project is a major midstream oil development connecting Uganda and Tanzania through a 1,443 km heated crude oil export pipeline from Kabaale-Hoima in Uganda to the Chongoleani Peninsula near Tanga Port in Tanzania. The project is designed to support the transportation and export of crude oil to international markets.
EACOP is seeking an experienced Offtake and Transportation Manager to lead and coordinate crude oil export operations from Tanga Terminal. This strategic role is responsible for ensuring reliable offtake scheduling, accurate production and tariff reporting, vessel coordination, validation activities, stakeholder alignment, and operational excellence across the crude oil transportation value chain.

Key Responsibilities
Monthly Volume and Tariff Management
- Consolidate production forecasts from Lake Albert Coordinators.
- Prepare monthly lifting statements.
- Verify consistency between production forecasts and actual production.
- Consolidate production figures received from upstream coordinators.
- Prepare monthly financial statements including advanced tariff payment and payment-in-kind calculations.
- Coordinate stock account reconciliation with operations teams.
Exports Planning
- Prepare lifting programs and cargo allocation plans among field partners.
- Monitor production maintenance schedules.
- Anticipate production changes and adjust export programs accordingly.
- Proactively manage scheduling impacts and communicate changes to stakeholders.
Vetting & Vessel Validation
- Manage vessel submissions for loading activities at Tanga Terminal.
- Ensure vessel validation aligns with Tanga Terminal operational requirements.
- Coordinate vessel approval processes with Vetting and JV partners.
Operations Management
- Issue commercial and operational instructions and documentation.
- Review shipment activities.
- Provide operational support and follow-up as required.
- Ensure effective follow-up of claims, including demurrage and cargo loss claims.
- Support timely claims resolution.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Apply EACOP HSE rules in all assigned activities.
- Ensure operational instructions comply with HSE requirements and company standards.
Projects & Procedures
- Contribute to Power BI dashboard development for Uganda lifting performance tracking.
- Develop role-specific operating procedures for terminal lifting coordination.
- Maintain monthly lifting tables for Uganda production activities.
People Management
- Support competency development and capability growth of team members.

Qualifications & Experience
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, Marine, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in:
- Exploration & Production (E&P) logistics
- Marine logistics
- Trading and shipping operations
- Terminal operations
- Demonstrated experience in terminal offtake coordination or similar operational leadership roles.
- Proven experience working within complex logistics and transportation environments.

- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Power BI analysis and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of oil and gas transportation operations.
