Project Supervisor

Buckreef Gold Company Limited is an equal opportunity employer and invites suitably qualified Tanzanian citizens with high integrity to apply for the position of Project Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction and earthworks projects at site, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and strict compliance with safety regulations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

•Manage and oversee construction projects at site

•Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in line with safety and quality standards

•Oversee all earthworks activities in compliance with project specifications and safety regulations

•Coordinate workers, subcontractors, materials, and equipment

•Supervise construction and earthworks crews, including organizing work shifts and providing guidance and training

•Manage procurement and delivery of construction materials

•Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution

•Enforce health and safety regulations and protocols on site

Qualifications and Education

•Diploma or VETA Level III in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or a related field

Experience

•Minimum of 3 years’ experience in civil and structural construction

•Previous supervisory or leadership experience is an added advantage

Skills and Competencies

•Strong knowledge of construction and earthworks methods and equipment

•Good leadership and communication skills

•Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the mining or construction industry

•Computer literacy

Other Requirements

•Physically fit and able to work in remote environments

•Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and rotational schedules
