Sales Manager – Technical & Industrial
Key Responsibilities
Based on the employer's advert, the successful candidate will focus on:
- Driving business development across Tanzania.
- Identifying and pursuing tender opportunities.
- Developing and managing key accounts.
- Driving technical, industrial and project-based sales.
- Developing new commercial opportunities and converting them into sales.
- Building and maintaining strong commercial and customer relationships.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Tanzanian national.
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Sales/Marketing or a related field.
- 3–10 years of relevant experience in technical/industrial equipment sales, projects or a similar commercial environment.
- Strong and proven experience in government tenders and public-sector business development.
- Established professional networks and strong relationships within government/public-sector procurement and relevant industrial sectors will be highly advantageous.
- Experience in sectors such as energy, oil & gas, infrastructure, manufacturing or construction will be an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial capabilities.
- Excellent relationship-management skills.
- Proven ability to develop business and convert opportunities into sales.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
