Senior Account Director

About the Role

Mkwawa Logistic and Construction is a leading organization delivering high‑quality logistics and construction services across Tanzania. Renowned for excellence, innovation, and reliability, the company partners on complex infrastructure and logistics projects.

We are seeking a Senior Account Director to lead key client accounts, drive sales strategy, and ensure successful delivery of large‑scale projects. This role is suited for a results‑driven leader with strong commercial acumen, relationship‑building skills, and experience managing high‑performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage strategic client accounts to ensure long‑term relationships
• Develop and execute account management and sales strategies
• Oversee delivery of projects to ensure quality, timelines, and client satisfaction
• Lead, mentor, and motivate account management and sales teams
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams on large‑scale logistics and construction projects
• Identify growth opportunities, upselling, and new business prospects
• Monitor performance against targets and business objectives
• Act as the primary point of contact between clients and senior management

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience in Account Management and Sales leadership
• Strong team management and leadership capabilities
• Experience in project management, delivering complex projects
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated problem‑solving and strategic thinking ability
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
• Master’s Degree is an added advantage
• Prior experience in the logistics or construction industry is highly desirable
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, on‑site environment
