A Senior Plant / Fleet Manager is being recruited to join the mobilisation of a major open-pit mining operation in West Africa.
This is a senior leadership position responsible for the performance, reliability and maintenance of a large heavy-mining-equipment fleet operating in a remote mining environment.
The position requires an experienced mining fleet leader with substantial knowledge of Komatsu mining equipment, preventative maintenance, asset reliability and maintenance planning, together with proven experience managing large maintenance teams.

The successful candidate will provide senior leadership for the heavy mining equipment fleet, with responsibility for:
- Fleet performance.
- Heavy-equipment reliability.

- Leadership of large maintenance teams.
- Supporting mobilisation of the open-pit mining operation.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Candidates should demonstrate:
- Senior-level fleet management experience in large-scale open-pit mining.
- Strong knowledge of Komatsu heavy mining equipment.
- Experience with Komatsu haul trucks.
- Experience with excavators.
- Experience with dozers.
- Knowledge of mining support equipment.
- Expertise in preventative maintenance.
- Strong asset-reliability knowledge.
- Maintenance-planning expertise.
- Experience leading maintenance teams of more than 70 personnel.
- Experience working in remote mining environments.
- A stable employment history with main equipment dealers or large contractors.
HEAVY EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE

Komatsu Haul Trucks
Practical fleet-management and maintenance knowledge involving heavy-duty mining haulage equipment.
Excavators
Experience managing the reliability and maintenance requirements of mining excavators.

Support Equipment
Experience managing additional heavy equipment supporting large-scale open-pit mining operations.
