About the Role
HumanValue Consulting Limited is recruiting five experienced Senior Sales Officers for our esteemed client, AutoXpress Tanzania, an automotive products and services business based in Dar es Salaam.
This opportunity is suited to commercially driven sales professionals with a proven track record in the tyre or automobile industry. Successful candidates will identify new customers, develop business opportunities, deliver excellent customer service and consistently achieve measurable sales targets.

Initial Gross Salary: TZS 1,500,000 per month
Potential Gross Salary After Six Months: TZS 1,750,000 per month, subject to successful achievement of monthly KPIs
Travel: Upcountry travel required
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect and develop new customers in the tyre and automobile market, including through upcountry business development visits.
- Deliver persuasive product presentations and pitches tailored to customers' business needs.
- Handle customer objections, negotiate effectively and close sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through professional service and responsive follow-up.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and track prospects, conversions and performance using Microsoft Excel.
- Monitor progress against monthly sales KPIs and consistently work toward agreed targets.
- Collaborate with colleagues and internal teams to ensure effective customer service and sales delivery.
- Develop a strong understanding of the company's products, services and customer requirements.
- Respond promptly to business opportunities and support sales growth across assigned markets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Degree in a relevant field. Qualifications in Sales and Marketing or Engineering are particularly preferred.
- Experience: At least five years of sales experience in the tyre or automobile industry.
- Demonstrated ability in prospecting, product pitching, negotiation and sales closing, supported by evidence of strong sales conversion.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Practical proficiency in Microsoft Excel for sales pipeline management and KPI reporting.
- High levels of initiative, integrity, accountability and teamwork.
- Willingness to travel upcountry to develop customers and respond to business needs.

Salary & Performance Progression
The initial gross salary is TZS 1,500,000 per month.
The gross salary may increase to TZS 1,750,000 per month after six months, depending on successful achievement of monthly key performance indicators (KPIs). This increase is performance-dependent and is not automatic.
Desirable Certificates & Professional Development
Certificates in Microsoft Excel and Sales Closing are highly desirable. Applicants may present certificates from any relevant training provider.
