Reporting to the Agency Manager, the Unit Manager will be responsible for growing insurance sales, servicing existing clients, recruiting and developing Sales Agents, maintaining customer documentation and driving the team toward weekly and monthly sales targets.

Zone: Northern Zone
Reporting To: Agency Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Unit Manager will:

• Prospect and close sales, including group onboarding and activation.
• Service existing clients.
• Support policy renewals and customer retention.
• Recruit Sales Agents within the unit.
• Train and coach Sales Agents.
• Drive productivity of Sales Agents within the unit.
• Ensure accurate KYC and customer documentation.
• Maintain disciplined weekly reporting to the Agency Manager.
• Monitor team performance.
• Drive achievement of weekly sales targets.
• Drive achievement of monthly sales targets.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Candidates should have:

• Diploma and/or Degree in any field.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Leadership skills.
• Team-management capabilities.
• Ability to recruit, coach and drive sales teams.
• Ability to operate in a target-driven environment.
• High levels of integrity, discipline, accountability and customer focus.

Added Advantage

Experience in any of the following will be an advantage:

• Field Sales.
• Agency.
• Insurance.
• Banking.
• Microfinance.

Possession of a Certificate of Proficiency (COP) is also an added advantage.
