Warehouse Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, inventory accuracy, and effective team management across receiving, storage, and dispatch activities. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, and delivery

•Supervise loading, unloading, stacking, and handling to ensure safety and efficiency

•Manage warehouse conditions, including 5S practices, fire prevention, theft protection, and environmental controls

•Conduct inventory counts (daily, weekly, monthly, cycle counts) and resolve discrepancies

•Handle slow-moving stock, damages, scrap, and returns

•Coordinate with production, sales, purchasing, logistics, and finance teams on schedules

•Control warehousing costs, losses, and logistics expenses

•Supervise warehouse staff, arrange shifts, and conduct performance evaluations

•Train staff on safety rules, operational standards, and system usage

•Enforce safety regulations and manage warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallets, racks)

•Optimize warehouse processes, SOPs, and reporting

•Report inventory status, efficiency, and improvement plans to management
