Looking for Development, NGO, M&E or Programme Management Jobs in Zanzibar?
A major recruitment opportunity has been announced for professionals interested in working on Early Childhood Development (ECD) programmes in Zanzibar. Big Win Philanthropy, in partnership with the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar, is supporting the implementation of the Zanzibar Multisectoral Early Childhood Development Programme (ZM-ECDP) and is recruiting five key positions based in Zanzibar.
The programme aims to help approximately 276,000 children aged 0–5 years access quality health, education, nutrition and social protection services by 2030.

Open Positions
The following vacancies are currently available in Zanzibar:
1. Programme Manager
- Location: Zanzibar
- Senior leadership role overseeing programme implementation, financial management, donor reporting and multi-sector coordination.
- Requires at least 7 years of progressive programme management experience.
- Master's degree preferred.
2. Monitoring & Evaluation Manager
- Location: Zanzibar
- Lead development of programme dashboards, performance monitoring frameworks and reporting systems.
- Requires 5–7 years of M&E and project management experience.
- Strong data analysis and visualization skills required.
3. Programme Assistant
- Location: Zanzibar
- Supports programme coordination, reporting, logistics and stakeholder engagement.
- Suitable for professionals with at least 2 years of relevant programme support experience.
4. Grants & Partnership Officer
- Location: Zanzibar
- Manages donor relationships, partner engagement, reporting and funding opportunities.
- Requires 5–7 years of partnership management or donor relations experience.
5. Socio-Behavioral Change Officer
- Location: Zanzibar
- Designs and implements evidence-based behaviour change initiatives focused on Early Childhood Development.
- Requires at least 5 years of relevant experience in behavioural sciences, community engagement or development programmes.
