Tanza Education is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to lead the implementation of the MsingiTek Program, an innovative tablet-based learning initiative designed to improve foundational literacy and numeracy among primary school students. The program utilizes technology from Imagine Worldwide and onebillion to provide students in Standards 1–3 with engaging, self-directed learning opportunities. ]
As Program Manager, you will oversee program delivery across a district portfolio of schools, leading field teams, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and ensuring measurable educational impact. Key Responsibilities
- Own the performance and implementation quality of MsingiTek across the assigned district.
- Monitor key performance indicators including attendance, tablet reporting data, and learner engagement.
- Lead and manage a team of 5+ Field Coaches and a Logistics/IT Officer.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and team motivation to ensure excellent execution.
- Use dashboards and field data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Build strong partnerships with District Education Officers (DEOs), Ward Education Officers (WEOs), and other government stakeholders.
- Strengthen local ownership and sustainability of the MsingiTek program.
- Ensure high-quality teacher training, coaching, and community engagement activities.
- Coordinate equipment deployment, installation, and maintenance activities.
- Report program performance, risks, and field insights to leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in program implementation, education, or community development.
- Experience leading or coordinating field-based teams.
- Proven ability to use data to improve operational performance.
- Experience working in rural or low-resource environments.
- Experience engaging government stakeholders at ward, district, or school levels.
- Experience with EdTech, digital learning solutions, or tablet-based education programs is an advantage.
