Business reporting and analytics

• Manage reporting across departments, applications and partners; extract daily and ad hoc reports for business decisions.
• Ensure accurate, timely reporting within agreed SLAs; administer reporting servers, data mining and OLAP.
• Design SQL scripts for reporting automation, analyse business incidents and investigate KPI issues such as revenue-earning customer numbers.
• Maintain dashboards for local and group management and coordinate file transfers from network systems through mediation to BI.
• Design improved analytics solutions and perform daily and weekly BI and TRA reconciliations with Revenue Assurance and Finance.

IT strategy and system integrations

• Develop the Airtel Money IT roadmap with partners, aligning infrastructure and applications with group strategy and local business needs.
• Review and prioritise business requirements, operational risks and IT actions; communicate IT plans and contribute to operational leadership.
• Supervise merchant integrations, connectivity and support.
• Lead delivery and daily operations of government and third-party integrated systems, including monitoring, database optimisation, capacity planning and incident escalation.
• Manage changes, suppliers and contractors; maintain security controls, service continuity and performance against internal SLAs.

Reliability, partners and delivery

• Build resilient, highly available infrastructure with disaster recovery provisions to support business continuity.
• Maintain availability, reliability and performance across information systems, data centres and AM, BI, TRA, TCRA and PRETUPS platforms.
• Plan capacity and manage information security and risk.
• Manage partner service delivery, quality, SLAs and the value of managed services, aligning IT capability with business priorities.
• Manage IT OPEX and CAPEX within the approved annual operating plan.
• Ensure technology and information governance, implement information management policies, and deliver IT projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications and experience

• University degree; an advanced degree and/or MBA is desirable.
• Professional qualifications or certifications in database management, reporting systems, programming, project management techniques or related disciplines.
• Four to seven or more years of relevant experience, including at least two years in a management role, preferably in IT or telecommunications.
• Experience delivering multiple complex projects and institutionalising IT processes.
