From AI idea to governed pilot

Workforce Matching Decision Lab. Learn how to define a problem, inspect synthetic records, compare operating assumptions and defend a controlled pilot. This is a public introductory exercise; it does not award course credit or a certificate.

1. Learn the decision framework

2. Diagnose the synthetic dataset

Sixteen invented records contain missing skills, a missing consent flag, a duplicate, an invalid date, an unsupported recommendation and a human override. Inspect them before running a pilot. Group labels are synthetic evaluation markers, not personal characteristics.

Fictional workforce records · dataset v1 · no real applicants
IDSkillsConsentDateReview note

3. Compare a controlled operating model

No hiring, lending, clinical, payment or other consequential decision is automated. All financial and performance figures are illustrative.

Run the model to see calculated outputs.

4. Build a data contract and test the controls

Input → schema validation → duplicate / consent / date checks → suggestion queue → authorised human decision → audit record.

Tests have not run.

5. Defend your pilot

Use this readiness checklist to form a conditional recommendation. Unchecked items remain open risks.

Synthetic settings can resume in this browser. No personal information is requested. Reset clears this exercise’s saved settings. The memo is marked “Sample learning exercise”, not a faculty-approved recommendation.

Extend this work in the full programme

Develop the architecture, implementation evidence, governance controls, investment model and board defence through the existing enrolled lessons and resources.

Assessment and completion

Final-exam pass mark: 80%. Completion also requires the programme’s practical evidence and faculty review. Payment or completion of this free sample does not award a certificate.

The current programme retains its existing assessment and certificate controls. Detailed chapter requirements, capstone review and reassessment arrangements are provided in the enrolled course. A new signed digital-credential service is not advertised as available until its issuance and verification have been tested.

Overview

Digital Transformation & AI-Ready IT Leadership

Lead enterprise transformation from strategy to measured value. Define a transformation mandate, prioritise an investment portfolio, design a governed solution, evaluate responsible AI options, stress-test financial returns and present a defensible board decision.

Who should attend

IT managers, Heads of IT, CIO-track professionals, enterprise architects, transformation programme managers and public-sector digital leaders. No coding expertise is required for the executive track; technical participants can pursue guided prototyping.

Your executive portfolio

Transformation mandate, value tree, portfolio scorecard, architecture decision record, AI use-case/data contract, pilot test evidence, risk register, five-year investment workbook, 90/180-day roadmap and 12-slide board defence.

Practical technologies explored: enterprise AI, frontier language models, Codex-assisted prototyping, integrations and governed automation. These support the transformation programme; no external technology-provider certification or endorsement is claimed.
