A recruitment opportunity is available for an experienced Bread Baking Manager to join a company in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
The successful candidate will manage daily bread production, supervise production teams, maintain product quality and food safety, control costs and support efficient bakery operations.
The role requires practical knowledge of bakery manufacturing processes, production scheduling, inventory control and continuous operational improvement.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Bread Production Management

Manage and supervise daily bread production activities.

Ensure production targets are achieved.

Maintain approved recipes and consistent product quality.

Plan production activities and coordinate shift requirements.
Quality and Food Safety

Monitor quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards.

Maintain appropriate production controls.
Cost and Inventory Management

Monitor raw material consumption and inventory.

Control production costs and minimise waste.
-
Support cost-effective use of bakery resources.
Staff and Equipment Management

Supervise production staff and monitor performance.

Coordinate equipment maintenance.

Minimise production downtime.

Prepare production reports and support operational improvements.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in one of the following:

Bakery Technology.

Production Management.

Industrial Engineering.

A related field.
Professional Experience
-
Three to five years of relevant experience in bakery production or food manufacturing.
