An opportunity is available for an experienced Finance Manager to join a company operating in Tanzania's automotive, car rental and vehicle service industry.
The successful candidate will lead the Finance and Accounts Department, oversee financial operations, maintain robust accounting controls, manage budgets and cash flow, ensure tax compliance and provide accurate management reports.
The position also involves vehicle financing, asset management, inventory valuation, import documentation and financial controls specific to automotive operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Finance Department Management

Lead and oversee the Finance and Accounts Department.

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.

Maintain accounting records and internal financial controls.

Provide regular financial reports to senior management and directors.
2. Cash Flow and Financial Planning

Prepare and manage daily and weekly cash-flow forecasts.

Oversee main and petty cash management.

Develop, manage and review annual budgets.

Monitor financial performance and working capital requirements.
3. Tax Compliance and Auditing

Ensure compliance with applicable tax and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate internal and external audits.
