Key Responsibilities
The Finance Officer will be responsible for:
- Managing day-to-day financial transactions and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Coordinating financial reporting and consolidation across BMG Group and its subsidiaries.
- Reviewing subsidiary financial statements, reconciliations and intercompany variances.
- Monitoring budgets, cash flows and financial performance across business units.
- Supporting compliance with tax, statutory, audit and Group financial-control requirements.
- Providing support to subsidiary finance teams.
- Identifying and escalating significant financial risks to the Group Chief Financial Officer.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should possess:
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- CPA, ACCA or an equivalent professional accounting qualification, preferably.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in finance or accounting.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and account reconciliation.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working in multi-sector or Group operations will be an added advantage.
