HumanValue Consulting Limited invites applications from male and female candidates for 15 Sales Officer positions. Working station: Mikocheni B, Dar es Salaam.
Role overview
Acquire customers, develop sales opportunities and support retail, digital, dealer and wholesale sales for lighting and electrical products. Work with the sales team to convert enquiries into paid orders and maintain reliable customer follow-up.
Duties and responsibilities
- Identify and approach prospective customers, including household buyers, retailers, hardware shops and electrical dealers.
- Respond promptly to walk-in, WhatsApp and social media enquiries and explain products clearly and confidently.
- Follow up leads, prepare or coordinate approved quotations and product bundles, and support conversion into orders.
- Build customer relationships, encourage repeat purchases and refer technical questions to qualified colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer contacts, quotations, orders and follow-up actions using approved sales tools or CRM.
- Support dealer displays, monitor customer stock needs and identify reorder opportunities.
- Coordinate with colleagues on stock availability, delivery, warranty enquiries and after-sales follow-up.
- Work towards agreed sales and customer acquisition targets and provide regular activity updates.
- Use approved pricing, discounts, credit terms and payment channels. Customer funds must never be received in personal accounts.
- Handle customer information responsibly and follow company service, safety and ethical standards.
Qualifications and experience
- A degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Previous customer acquisition experience is an added advantage.
- Ability to communicate persuasively, build trust and follow up customers professionally.

- Persuasive communication and the ability to explain value clearly.
