Key Responsibilities

The IT Officer will be responsible for:

• Managing organisational IT systems, infrastructure, applications, and technology integrations.
• Monitoring and maintaining the reliability, availability, security, and performance of IT systems.
• Providing technical support to users and resolving hardware, software, network, and access-related issues.
• Planning and implementing IT projects that support business operations and digital transformation.
• Supporting the development and maintenance of digital products and internal technology solutions.
• Maintaining IT documentation, operating procedures, technology policies, and compliance standards.
• Supporting application programming interfaces and integrations between business systems.
• Contributing to cybersecurity, systems monitoring, backup, access control, and technology risk-management activities.
• Coordinating technical troubleshooting and ensuring that incidents are resolved effectively.
• Supporting cloud-hosted and virtual private server environments.
• Applying DevOps and continuous integration and deployment practices where required.
• Working with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement through technology.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Practical experience in software development and IT systems.
• Demonstrated leadership and project-management capabilities.
• Strong understanding of information technology infrastructure and systems integration.
• Experience providing technical support and resolving user-related technology issues.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to prepare and maintain technical documentation, policies, and operating procedures.
