Job Summary

Position: Logistics & IT Officer
Location: Ruvuma (Songea) or Morogoro (Morogoro Town), Tanzania
Employment Type: Part-time (40% FTE)

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate collection, replacement, and return of faulty tablets and accessories.
Issue functioning replacement devices and coordinate delivery back to schools.
Record equipment collections and transactions using CommCare and ERPNext systems.
Maintain accurate device inventory and serial number tracking.
Diagnose faults affecting tablets, routers, charging hubs, headsets, and related accessories.
Conduct approved basic repairs and verify functionality before redeployment.
Prepare faulty equipment for vendor collection and manage repair handovers.
Receive, sort, record, and manage replacement stock inventory.
Monitor equipment turnaround times and unresolved support cases.
Escalate recurring faults, shortages, and operational risks promptly.
Recommend practical improvements to strengthen logistics and asset management processes.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
More than two years of relevant experience in logistics, inventory management, IT support, or a similar operational role.
Experience using ERP systems such as ERPNext, SAP, or similar platforms is an added advantage.
