An opportunity is available for an experienced Paper Mill Shift Supervisor within Tanzania's paper and tissue manufacturing industry.

The employer is seeking a production professional with strong experience supervising M.G. (machine-glazed) and tissue paper manufacturing operations, managing production teams and maintaining operational efficiency, product quality and workplace safety.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise daily M.G. and tissue paper manufacturing operations.

• Monitor production targets, product quality standards and process parameters.

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and environmental requirements.

• Lead shift operators and coordinate activities with maintenance teams.

• Minimise machinery downtime and production waste.

• Improve operational efficiency across assigned shifts.

• Maintain accurate shift and production reports.

• Coordinate operational activities and reporting with the Mill Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Pulp and Paper Technology, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum five years of relevant professional experience.

• Practical understanding of paper or tissue manufacturing operations.

• Ability to supervise production employees and coordinate maintenance requirements.

• Strong production monitoring, reporting and problem-solving abilities.
