Key Responsibilities
Printing Machine Operations
- Operate and monitor flexographic or rotogravure printing machines to ensure efficient production.
- Configure machines with inks, solvents, substrates, cylinders, and print settings according to job requirements.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to optimize production output.
- Ensure printing processes comply with production schedules and quality standards.
Quality Control & Production Excellence
- Maintain color matching, registration, and print quality according to customer specifications.
- Conduct routine quality inspections during production runs.
- Minimize waste through proper setup procedures and efficient machine operation.
- Maintain accurate production records and shift reports.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance activities.
- Identify machine abnormalities and escalate technical issues where necessary.
- Troubleshoot printing-related defects and support corrective actions.
- Ensure machinery remains in safe operating condition.
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Follow company policies and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in safety initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
Qualifications & Experience
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Form Four (O-Level) education.
- Technical or vocational training in printing, production, or manufacturing is an added advantage.
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating flexographic or rotogravure printing machines.
- Experience working within flexible packaging manufacturing environments is preferred.
Technical Knowledge
- Understanding of printing inks, solvents, and substrates.
- Knowledge of BOPP, CPP, PET, PE, and related packaging materials.
- Familiarity with machine setup procedures and print quality controls.
- Ability to interpret production instructions and specifications.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work independently and within a production team.
- Strong discipline, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work day and night shifts.
- Physically fit and capable of operating manufacturing equipment safely.
