Senior Credit Analyst

Role overview

NMB Bank seeks one Senior Credit Analyst at its Head Office in Tanzania to assess credit proposals and provide independent recommendations to approving authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate corporate, SME, agribusiness, mortgage, consumer and structured trade credit proposals.
• Identify risks, recommend mitigants and structure suitable facilities.
• Present credit reports and support committee decisions.
• Coach analysts and relationship teams, monitor emerging risks and respond to audit or regulatory queries.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Business or a related field.
• At least 4 years of corporate and SME credit-analysis experience, including agribusiness, trade or project finance.
• Strong credit-risk, financial-analysis, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
