Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, record and safely store spare parts, tools, equipment and supplies.

• Maintain accurate stock cards, inventory records and store documentation.

• Issue materials against approved requisitions and maintain supporting records.

• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or excess stock.

• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock against records.

• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, operations, fleet and finance departments.

• Track the movement of items between project sites, yards and equipment locations.

• Prepare periodic inventory reports and support cost control and audit activities.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should possess:

• A degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Stores or Inventory Management, Logistics, Finance or a related field.

• At least 2–3 years of relevant work experience.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Good knowledge of stock control, documentation and reporting.

• Basic financial and inventory reconciliation skills.

• Computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Good communication, coordination and time-management abilities.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in the heavy equipment hire or rental industry.

• Experience handling equipment spare parts, tools and inventory records.
