Tallying Clerks – 10 Positions
Job Type: Internship
Location: Bandari Street, Kurasini, Dar es Salaam
Key Responsibilities
- Verify inventory: Count, verify and document incoming and outgoing goods against packing lists, invoices and bills of lading.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stock movements, inventory checks and daily reports.
- Inspection: Inspect cargo for damage or defects upon receipt and ensure proper labelling and storage.
- Data entry: Enter stock information into inventory systems and prepare daily and weekly reports.
- Compliance: Follow safety regulations, SHERQ procedures and internal control policies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Certificate in Logistics, Warehousing, Inventory Management or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in a warehouse, port or general storekeeping role.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong numerical skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel.
- High level of integrity.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk in outdoor/warehouse environments during shifts.
