Key Responsibilities
Loading and Offloading
Schedule and supervise receiving, loading and offloading activities, ensuring safe and timely movement of goods.
Stock and Inventory Control
Monitor daily stock movements, maintain inventory records and carry out stock reconciliations.
Team Supervision and Cost Control
Allocate labour, guide operational and clerical staff, and control picking and loading costs.
Safety and Training
Maintain a safe yard environment, ensure adherence to occupational health and safety procedures, support incident reporting and conduct safety training.
Qualifications
Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Materials Management, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
Experience
At least two years of relevant experience in similar responsibilities.
