𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲

We are seeking on behalf of the client a Logistics & Tracking Officer to support effective fleet monitoring, logistics coordination, and operational reporting. The role is critical in ensuring timely deliveries, route efficiency, cost control, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

This position suits a detail‑oriented professional with strong coordination skills and hands‑on experience in fleet tracking and logistics operations

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

•Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound transportation of goods

•Support vendor management, including transporters and freight forwarders

•Prepare and manage logistics documentation (waybills, delivery notes, permits)

•Monitor fleet movements and shipments using GPS tracking systems

•Identify route deviations, delays, and incidents; take corrective action

•Optimize routes to improve efficiency and reduce logistics costs

•Track and report logistics KPIs (on‑time delivery, fuel usage, turnaround time)

•Communicate effectively with drivers and operations teams

•Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports

•Ensure compliance with company policies and local transport regulations

•Support issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements & Qualifications

•Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business, IT, or a related field

•Minimum of 𝟭 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 in logistics, fleet tracking, or a similar role

•Strong working knowledge of Excel and GPS tracking systems

•Good communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills

•Sound knowledge of Dar es Salaam routes
