Atlantic Metal Limited is recruiting an experienced Technical Office Manager to lead its technical office and support aluminium, glass and façade projects in Tanzania.
The successful candidate will manage technical drawings and project documentation, coordinate the technical office team, support project cost estimation and ensure engineering outputs meet applicable project specifications and standards.
The position requires strong experience in aluminium, glass and façade systems, technical leadership and AutoCAD.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Drawings and Documentation

Manage shop drawings and technical documentation.

Coordinate technical drawing preparation and review.

Maintain engineering documentation relevant to project delivery.
Material Planning and Cost Estimation

Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM).
-
Produce quantity take-offs.
-
Prepare project cost estimates and related technical calculations.
Technical Team Leadership

Lead and coordinate the technical office team.

Support effective communication and technical task coordination.

Help maintain quality and consistency in technical deliverables.
Cross-Functional Technical Support

Support sales, production and site teams with technical solutions.

Assist in resolving project-related technical challenges.

Coordinate technical information required for project implementation.
Project Standards and Compliance
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
Bachelor's Degree in one of the following:

Civil Engineering.

Mechanical Engineering.
-
Industrial Engineering.
Experience

Minimum seven years of experience in aluminium, glass and façade systems.

Demonstrated ability to coordinate technical engineering activities.

Experience with international projects is an advantage.
Technical Skills

AutoCAD proficiency — mandatory.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Ability to work with shop drawings, technical documentation, Bills of Materials, quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
