Key Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing procurement, strategic sourcing, and contracts.
- Leading logistics, warehousing, and inventory control activities.
- Coordinating customs clearance, freight, and distribution.
- Managing supplier relationships and vendor performance.
- Overseeing supply chain budgets, reporting, and cost optimisation.
- Leading and developing the supply chain team.
- Supporting efficient movement and availability of materials and products.
- Promoting supply chain compliance and operational discipline.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should possess:
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Between five and seven years of progressive professional experience.
- At least two years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Tanzania or East Africa work experience, which is preferred.
- Practical knowledge of enterprise resource planning or inventory management systems.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Fluency in English and Swahili.
